About Us

Manas Foundation is a registered social development organisation established in 2008 by a group of social work students with the vision of translating grassroots ideas into effective action. Over the years, the organisation has evolved into a strong team of qualified social work professionals and committed community activists working together to create sustainable and positive change.

We work closely with the most marginalised sections of society, including women, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, children, farmers, adolescent girls, and young boys. Our approach is participatory, need-based, and integrated, ensuring that communities remain at the centre of all interventions.

Our core strategies focus on strengthening awareness of rights and entitlements, building the capacities of marginalised communities, nurturing local leadership, and facilitating collective action to drive long-term social change. Access to Quality Health, Women’s Empowerment, Quality Education, Livelihood development and Financial Inclusion, Infrastructure Development constitute the core thematic areas of our work
