Program of Manas Foundation are always designed to bring positive change in the lives of people from most marginalised communities. Our programs are always based on needs of the people from community. We always ensure active participation of people and development of local leadership so the work done will get sustained better. Health, Education, Livelihood, Women empowerment are our core themes of work. Some of our key achievement are as follows.
Quality Healthcare
Keeping our sight on the national goal of making last mile delivery possible through a “health for all” commitment, At Manas Foundation, we focus on Preventive healthcare which is an important dimension of health that needs significant attention and investment from all sections of the society. It is a national health priority and a notified area under Schedule VII of the CSR Section 135 of the Companies Act.
We aim at improving the health, well-being and productivity of community/population, families and individuals, and promotes equity by benefiting most the disadvantaged and marginalised groups. It covers range of public health activities focused on prevention of diseases, promotion of good health and strengthening of health systems.
Some of our achievements
- ‘Focus on building primary health centre
- Benefitted more than 1000+ people (benefitted) through Helpdesk, Helpline and Outreach program- Duplication of word benefitted.
- More than 50+ Kitchen Gardens (developed) under Nutritional Development program- Remove word ‘developed’
- ‘ Successfully running Mobile Health Units in different locations in India focusing on health care and health services, specialized health camps, RCH Training, Adolescent Girls Training, Counselling of Expecting Mothers & Lactating Mothers and Anganwadi Trainings with local administration.’

Women Empowerment
We strongly believe in gender equality hence women are at core of our interventions. In all our program, women empowerment is always given preference as we believe that social change process can not be achieved without equal participation of women. We work to make women aware about their rights, increase their participation at various levels, impart skills among them, increase their knowledge and enhance their confidence to lead an independent life with dignity.
Created Awareness among 1000+ Tribal women and helped them to form their own organization from sustainability perspective

Livelihood
Under sustainable livelihood, Manas Foundation focuses on different aspects such as agriculture and allied activities, vocations trainings, financial inclusion and security, linkages with Govt. schemes, skills development etc.

- 100+ farmers were helped to get benefits through linking them with Agriculture Development Programs of Govt.
- 500+ Women helped under financial literacy program and linked to credit access
- Mobilized more than 100+ Youth on livelihood issue, facilitated skills enhancement of them.
Livelihood
Under Sustainable Livelihood, Manas foundation focus on a set of activities essential to everyday life that are conducted over one’s life span. Such activities could include securing water, food, fodder, medicine, shelter, and clothing.

Manas Foundation works to ensure that most vulnerable children get access to quality education and gain additional knowledge and skills required for their overall development. Support classes, support through educational aid, running mobile libraries, encouraging children and their parents for education, collaboration with Govt Education system are some of the core strategies.

The Need Assessment studies are focused on identifying prioritized needs on the ground after undertaking a diagnostic study of the survey region to conceptualize relevant CSR and Community projects which are impactful and sustainable.

We conduct impact assessment of development and CSR projects/initiatives to comprehend tangible and intangible changes in the lives of the communities where the projects were implemented. This helps to understand the overall outcome and impact of the project from the eyes of the beneficiaries.

Social Perception
We undertake Social Perception Surveys to understand the perception of the beneficiary communities in the region where the development or CSR projects have been taken up by the agencies. Social Perception studies are important from the perspective that the funding agency/corporate has been consistently spending through various projects in a particular region for years and would like to know the perception of the beneficiary communities and understand its brand image.

SROI (Social Return on Investment)
We undertake Social Returns on investment (SROI) studies to comprehend the social returns of a community project vis-a-vis the financial investment on the project. This could be Evaluative SROI where the intent is to collect, collate and calculate the returns based on data and information pertaining to the change through the intervention.
